Rural Weddings

In Britain, we're never far away from some of the most beautiful countryside on the planet. Perfect summer days with family and friends in a rural setting always linger on in the memory.

Countryside weddings are a perennial favourite

Whether it's in the old English parish church or a contemporary licensed venue, there's always something special about a countryside wedding. There's plenty of good reasons for that. It's not just the beautiful landscape, it's also the great choice of venues. You might opt for a classic country hotel, a boutique farm wedding or perhaps somewhere entirely novel. There's usually great local produce available, craft breweries and gin makers, artisan wedding supply companies and lively local music to be found.

Farm weddings offer rustic charm and a boutique experience

A wedding on a farm can be as rustic or sophisticated as you want them to be. That said, there's something really magical about a fairy light lit tipi as night finally falls on a perfect summer wedding day. Seating can be hay bales, your guests can gather around the fire and the choice of music and extras can create a festival style vibe.

Alternatively, you might want the classic country wedding as enjoyed by rural families for centuries with a wedding at a beautiful village church followed by a reception on the farm. Rural wedding venues sometimes have their own accommodation on site or nearby for you and your guests.
